I tested the Akai Pro AMX and AFX controllers for Serato DJ. The AMX is the real controller that activates Serato DJ and the AFX adds extra functionality. Rekordbox is looking to be pretty on point lately, and while I truly love Serato, the price of entry for quality equipment is unfortunately out of reach for now (but damn you get what you pay for). I'd love to hear from all y'all (especially rekordbox users, tell me how much you love it) and also anyone with an AMX that's experienced issues.

Magma has just released three new models in its CTRL-Case line. Built to spec for the Numark NV, Traktor Kontrol S8, and the Akai AMX / AFX modular controllers, the cases are zippered clamshells that have a foam-lined interior.
